This is a good example of a salt glazed bowl from the mid 19th century, probably Staffordshire. Beautifully thinly potted, it has polychrome decoration in overglaze enamel around the outside in a fence and flowers pattern.
There is a crack from the rim - please see photos - which could be restored if the puchaser so wished. It was restored before and is stable.
Size 19cm across the rim and 8cm tall.
