This imposing Ruskin vase is a late production and stamped Ruskin 1933. It is a robust Art Deco shape and fired in the trademark Howson Taylor sang-be bouef glaze with highlights of copper oxidised to give the brilliant green effect. In this example the copper effects are mainly of the ront side of the vase.
The vase stands approximately 27cm tall. Guaranteed no damage or restoration. There is a glaze run in one place which is part of the vagaries of the complex firing process used for this ware.
